Dipstick
What’s wrong with the dipstick? I bought the truck with it like this, and I have to pull it out from under the intake hoses. It is annoying and was curious what’s wrong. I tried to reference the ones at the junkyard but they were all i6 or the v8s didn’t have a dipstick tube
it read accurate with the 6qts after the oil change.

yup. it should be almost straight up, not point to the radiator.
i wonder if a past owner was short and could not reach in that far to grab it so bent it to be able to check oil without climbing on something to reach the stick.

Thats funny. As I read the post I realized...I'm that guy! I need a small step stool to even reach my dipstick, and I'm 5'8". Lol
