Ford Labor Rate

Are there any Ford techs out there than can tell me what the labor time is for replacing the passenger mirror turn signal on a 2022 F250?

my dealer is $125 an hour shop rate.

$135.00-145.00 labor with 1 hour min around me. Was 125.00 before covid. Replacing a mirror housing or removing to replace just signal will be charged as a 1 hour job although it takes much less time.

I've had to replace mine twice and can't see the dealer charging more than an hour. Around here that would be $165 maybe $185 now. I bet Ford only pays .4 (or less) of an hour if it were a warranty repair.

Don't the signal lenses just pop out and replace the bulb, or did they seal it in the later MY trucks? Those only take a few minutes to replace.

It's a sealed unit that requires partial disassembly of the mirror. About $130 for the part last time I bought one.

I smashed the singal light lens on mine when I was a bit too close to some construction fencing. I should get off my **** and order the lens and figure it out.

These should last longer, so as long as you or someone else doesn't damage the lens you may never have to deal with replacement. The two I replaced were do to damage, one I believe took a rock, the other appeared to be caused from another vehicle making contact.
