Remember when it comes to lifting your F250 you get what you pay for. With lighter trucks you can get away with lesser componentry but when your talking 9000 Lbs you need some pretty stout parts.I would suggets that whatever company you go with you need to order the diesel springs,if they dont have them then youll probably notice your front end begin to sag in just a short time. Also you will notice a sort of mushy steering from almost any lift kit as you elevate that much weight it is going to affect your ride stability this can be somewhat compensated by using very high quality shocks.Rancho 9000 are nice because you can adjust them,I opted to install the in cab adjusters and they are awsome. You will also need to install a drop down pitman arm(steering arm),and adjust any excessive play out of the pre load and mesh load adjustments in your steering box,(any play will be amplified when elevated).I would suggest Superlift as the best manufacturer for a heavy truck like yours,I would also suggest the Superrunner Steering Kit if you plan on doing any heavy 4 wheeelin. Its not cheap raising these heavy beasts but if you do it right you can retain a good handeling truck.I have a 91 F250 XLT,Supercab,Longbed with a supercharged 460,I have been racing it in Mud Boggs for the last month, and generaly beating the hell out of it for 6 months(since the lift),and it is holding up very well, and still handles well on the road,(although I dont use it for heavy towing anymore I do use it to pull my Jeep).Let me know what you plan on acheiving with your lift,(looks, competition, improved clearance,?) and I may be able to give more detailed info. Good luck,
Jeff
