yesterday i want to check oil level, and when put the dipstick back, accidentally I break it on the connection between wire and flat metal. Flat part stay inside the tube.
Any idea how to take out the broket part, and where I can find replacement?

The link above will not work for a van. That’s for a idi in a truck. Much shorter dipstick. Good luck finding one. I had to repair mine after searching high and low for a new or used one.

I know will be a problem to find one for a van. Also 99% of videos are for trucks, so we need to invent something
I will try to weld it, so we will see...
I made one for mine out of a universal trans dipstick from Amazon (braided steel type). I reused the old dipstick handle. Just cut off the end of the piece that crimped onto the braided cable, match up your lengths, cut the new one and crimp into the existing handle. I’ll post some pics of mine. Super low tech. Once you do your first oil change with it, measure in your oil carefully the you can add marks to the new dipstick by drilling small holes.
