Flathead to chevy tranny adaptor?

I found a flywheel and what appears to be an adaptor. I got this stuff like 2 years ago when I bought a Flathead off a guy. I remember him saying, he thinks it was for a Flathead to Chevy tranny adaptor. Was there such a thing? I can post pics if anyone wants to see it.

I'm sure there are such adapters. Does it adapt at the block or at the bell housing?

I have a chevy to a flathead tranny adapter.

Back in the late 50's early 60's there were lots of adaptors for putting different tranny's behind flatheads. Adaptors are still made new for putting Chevy 5 speed trannys, TH350, Ford C4 and AOD's behind flatheads.

I believe that advance adaptors has several differant combination adaptors. They have a free catalog they will send you. None not cheap though. Ed ke6bnl
