Just saw your recent msg. I just picked up a Harmonic Balancer from O'Reilly, and have an OEM brand HB puller coming from Amazon tomorrow. Not sure if the noise that I hear, even with the belt off, is coming from the HB or possibly something that the failed HB has damaged, or...... something that was damaged causing HB to fail. I just hope that this HB fixes the issue.
I wouldn't necessarily blindly replace it. You should be able to see if it's suspect. You should be able to observe wobbling as shown in the vid and I'd imagine the squeak is from physical contact with the motor so there should be witness marks
Aye, his video is quite bad but somewhere around 3:35 he seems to suggest the noise is from the balancer moving within itself. From what little I could see of his timing cover it didn't look scarred up, but between the poor vid quality and blathering about anything OTHER than the subject of the vid, I can't say conclusively

I just watched the video. I will try looking at my harmonic balancer tomorrow......maybe video it, and have my son on the gas pedal. Will let you know.
You probably have a vacuum leak where air is being sucked in through a seal when the engine is loaded. A smoke test might not locate the source but it’s worth trying. Could also have a vacuum line collapsing which causes a loud squeal. Saw this once when someone used a wiper washer hose in place of a vacuum line.
Well, Since I was out of options, I replaced the Harmonic Balancer.
No change whatsoever.
I took a 2 min video, this site says its too big, so I can't share it.
Looking back over the replies, Djosbun, you may have an idea there.
Thanks for all your help. I was out of options, or so I thought, and went ahead
and replaced the Harmonic Balancer, no change whatsoever. I am going to
be checking for vacuum issues in a few hours.
