12’ Bed strips
Howdy everyone
is there a source for 12’ long metal strips that go between the wood planks? I’m just about finished with my ‘61 F-600 flatbed, but can’t find strips that long.

All I see are short ones.
IMO forget about them. Get some 2 x 6 tongue and groove, screw it down and haul on. Worked for my dad's '58 with a 14' bed.
If you are hauling and have a hoist, the metal strips are the first thing to go.
