After passing a 2017-19 SD with the C-rings kept on "DRL-bright" with the headlights, and having that painful, blinding glare in my mirrors, I STRONGLY suggest you reconsider the idea of activating them. It was way more of an annoyance than someone driving with their high beams left on. Besides, while you may think it's cool, it adds nothing to your viewing ability at night, and will be a royal PITA when driving in fog.
