I think a hard bottomed one might be best for the river. I wonder if there is something a person could do to protect the air up ones from pointy objects? Maybe strap some kind of tarp to the bottom of it to offer a little protection?
Perhaps that would work. I did some talking with some gentlemen who have done it previously, and got some decent advice. (they were not entirely sober when I asked about it, so I took some of the advice with a grain of salt.)
