Trying to decide this VIN bought it and found a rod went through the oil pan. I will need a new motor and would like to get it close to original as possible. Thanks in advance for any help here.
Since you will need a whole new long block, do yourself a favor and get a the latest F150 or Mustang roller 5.0 you can find.
You can retrofit your front cover, water pump, probably even valve covers etc, along with the 2bbl manifold. If you are clever, you will add 100 hp without anyone being able to tell.....
