Have used K&N filters on other vehicles. Just purchased this 1992 F150 w/302. 3 inch exhaust is now done ... want to add a new air filter or system. Have been told that a generation II type system is available. Want to increase performance. Any thoughts?

 

The K&N filters alone do not yield much in gains as a stand alone upgrade (other than not needing to change filters as often). They do, however, compliment the performance exhaust system like yours very well! I believe it would be worth it!
