Chips, K&N and exhaust
I have a 1992 F150 302 4WD. I installed three inch exhaust and just ordered the new K&N air filter injection system (I was told the air injection system would fit and operate correctly). The salesman suggested a chip for this truck. He claimed that the K&N would boost the HP by up to 15 horses and the $225 chip would add another 15. I am looking for an opinion regardng 1) the application ... will everything fit? and 2) are the performance enhancements reasonable? and 3) where can I find original equipment performance data?
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help.

Im sure all the modifications are designed to fit , you may need to rearrange some ? As for the improvements ...Im sure you will see some improvement , but you have to remember you were asking a salesman ...He probably would have told you it will remind you of your wifes birthday and where to buy her a gift if he thought you would believe it . Id say those are upper power improvements under ideal circumstances . Just try the filter charger thing for now and see how that does before you buy the chip .

Pastmaster are you currently using a superchip? If so in what? I was thinking of installing one in my 94 Bronco 5.8 E4OD. Does the superchip require a lower temp Thermostat? I know that you have to use premium fuel, which is the main reason I haven't installed one yet(gas prices). I'd apreciate any other comments you might have. Thanks in advance
