The Stück steering worked well in 76 at max speeds of 55mph in 1976 with small tires.
Today 79 steering goes 65 wirh small tires.
Crossover steering with flattest drag link angle possible. Track bar fabbed to match this angle. Leave tie rod on the original tierod knuckle locations. Drag link wants its own steering arm to work best.
Borg steering saft from wheel to steering box
youl have fab most everything exept drag link steering arm..
Done this way it will steer better than modt trucks from the 2000s even with 40" tires
Sweet truck by the way I think its a camillion or cleared camo I love it.

yeah the picture was a little color distorted. I pulled up factory colors for 76 and thought this might be medium green. I appreciate the info on all the steering
Quick question in regards to rust and body repair. Ive watched video and have a good idea, but on the drivers side bed panel, at some point in the trucks life any owner looks to have added another gas tank. There is a cap right in the middle of the panel. Would it be easier to just replace then entire outside panel? I planned on having the card repainted as soon as I had the rust and dents repaired.
