I want to convert my truck from having the tank behind the seat. I've heard some one say there are kits that come with the tank and any brackets or hoses necessary. Is this true? Any help would be great.
There is currently no kit that I am aware of. Most folks are using the early Mustang tanks under the bed and putting the filler in the bed floor. You will have to fab the mounting of the tank as there is no kit to speak of.
That's what I had thought. Does anyone have any picutres of a truck that this has been done to so I have something to give me a few ideas on how to mount mine?
Also, if anyone can find this phantom kit, there's six pack of their choice in it for them...
J I'm currently working on putting a tank from a dodge minivan in my 61. I have it mounted and am working on plumbing right now. I'll be getting some pics and putting together a tech article. Should be about a month but with the holidays I'm not making any promises.
