Not clear on what you mean by "starts, as soon as you rev it up it dies"??? If we over rev the engine, the ECM will selectively shut down the fuel injectors, so the engine won't come unraveled & make a mess.
If your not doing that, did the problem come about suddenly after some event???
^+1 on a fuel pressure check & seeing as how you provided a clue that suggests a flow volume over time may also be involved, when the engine dies when revved.
If fuel pressure with the fuel rail pressure regulator vacuum line attached & removed & Plugged, checks out ok, also perform a fuel volume flow over time test, while performing the psi test. Volume should be about 1/2 pt./15 seconds pump run time.
If volume over time is low, a wimpy fuel pump, low operating voltage, or under load voltage drop to the pump from faulty electrical connections, leaking internal FPR diaphragm, clogged fuel filter, crimped return, or supply line, all belong on the suspect list until some trouble shooting narrows the suspect list down some.
Resist the urge to toss parts at the problem on a hunch. Let your trouble shooting drill down tests suggest the next best action & post All results.
