I will, don't know how old the batteries I replaced were but the engine cranks much better. May be my imagination but even sounds better when idling. I keep batteries on a Battery Tender 24/7 it has selectable battery type and output I keep it on 8 AMP.. Truck is not a daily driver but recently been driving it a lot more.
Does battery university list what brands are battery 1 through 9 some where? I don't seem to find it. B.
If you look at the footnote, Cadex supplied the data and graph, so you would have to backtrack through them if they even mention what batteries they were.
I went the Costco route. I did the walmart route before. Nothing wrong with them but in order to get warranty u have to have the paper receipt.
I lose them all the time.
Costco will just look u up and u are done.
Yeah, I got the 270amp DC Power with the thought of being able to add accessories in the future…but so far 7 years into the future that has failed to materialize 😂
Didn't realize that even on a longer drive the batteries don’t get to full recharge, though. Guess I should start using that battery tender more often…just need to make sure I don’t forget and “unplug” it by driving off… 😬
Welcome to the Odyssey side tfunk! Where did you buy the batteries and what did they set you back in these crazy times?
And a word of caution on the battery maintainer for these: not just any maintainer provides the charging algorithm that Enersys says these need. One you might consider is a CTEK unit... Adding in the price of a charger makes the payout even longer - but I do like the way the Odysseys spin the 6.0...
And you likely remember I came very close to buying those... Until a friend (you) found a killer discount code that worked on the Odysseys that were somehow priced wrong at Autozone (I think they flipped the Extreme and Performance prices, But I didn't complain!).

I was going to buy the Costco AGM until I read their warranty. Batteries installed in diesel trucks the warranty is cut in half. The last time I warranted a battery at Walmart they just scanned the bar code on the battery no receipt needed. It's been a few years may have changed with all the theft going on.
I’ve brought the receipt. Mine does not have an auto department anymore. No testing, they just take my word the battery is bad. They are, but with the Lincoln LS, I take some liberties because that car gets weird when there is a spiking voltage drop at start.
