Toyota Double Cab, not as big as you think

I was at the National FFA Convention this past week in Louisville, KY. They had a farm equipment show there at the same time for the FFA. Toyota had a nice display there and low and behold, what was parked out front?? A Tundra with the elusive double cab option. The doors were open and I ATTEMPTED to get inside. I could not get my legs inside. The room in that thing is no bigger than the backseat of my Supercab. It is very small, actually reminded me of the size of the new Dodge crewcab. It won't threaten the F-150 Super Crew unless all of a sudden we get a bunch of 5'1" truck drivers.

I wonder what toyota's market is. They are trying to go after the full size trucks, but they cant tow as much, they don't handle as well under a load, and they don't hold as many people in the cab. What is their game?

Thanks for the report. I have to say I'm more than a little surprised that the rear seat doesn't match the Screw.

I know several people who have the Tundra, including some relatives, and all are well satisfied w/Quality & power. None of them are very tall, I have not seen any of them "tow" anything heavier than a jet ski. I'm sure it is up to that and ofcourse Toyota's quality has always been great. It just isn't what I would call a "full size" truck! Just my 2cents, though.
