What year???

Another dumb question for a ford fan. What year did ford start making a crew cab(or ext cab) with the short bed. (3/4 ton or bigger). I thought it was 97 but I think I am wrong??

'97 was the first year for the CC short bed.

in 96 they offered the supercab (extended cab) with the short bed.
