Wow, thanks for sharing these. Do you mind posting the dimensions of the various tools, especially the seal pullers.

I was carefully scraping away from coolant holes. That was not the best way. Some said to use shaving cream.

Incredible work on all these tools Hartwig! Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes it happens that you cannot be sure that an injector is the cause of the issue. Here in Germany there is no company that can test HEUI injectors. I am trying to build a setup where I can at least see if an injector on the oil side has a leak. Oil leaks are not always easy to find.

Dang, amazing work. I thought I was ingenious for using a long 1/2" extension with a deep socket on the end to slip over the ratchet handle I was using to rotate the belt tensioners to provide more leverage and access. I hope you can pass all your labor costs for that machine work on to your customers.

As an addition to the tool in post #20, I have modified a nipple cup to check injector spool valves on installed injectors for issues.

for cleaning the surfaces of the block and heads I made me this holding plate for abrasive linen. What do you use to clean the surfaces?

(this engine must be bored and cleaned anyway, so the cylinder bores are not covered).

time and time again, people break off the small nipple on the radiator.
Usually a thread is cut into the thin material on the radiator, this method was too risky for me. This nipple will survive the truck.

when I work on 6.0s, I install this "protector"

For all possible tests (especially on the valve train) of the engine on an engine stand, I have built this tool from a defective starter to be able to spin the engine on an engine stand very carefully.

Theoretically, you could also start the 6.0 like an old T-model

sometimes the standpipes refuses to come out. If you want to use it again, you should not use pliers.
Therefore, I have built this tool for myself.

I was struggling again with a non-magnetic IPR valve screen that was difficult to get out of the HPOP.
I don't know why the screens have different magnetic intensities.
On the early 6.0s with the rear bridge on the intake manifold, this is often a very time intensive job.
I have now built this tool.
