FLOWMASTER on a 300/6 4.9L 95 F-150???
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows what type of sound a Flowmaster will produce on this engine?
I want something with a deep tone and a nice rumble but not too loud! Should I go with a 50 series or 40 series? Also, what chamber would ya recommend a 2 chamber or a 3 chamber? Again, it is a 300/ straight 6 cylinder.
Thanks for any help you can give me! Larry
Would I even be better to go with a Gibson or even Borla over a Flow?

I am looking for an exhaust for my 95’ F-150 300 L6 also and from what I have read, the best setup would be a single pipe (either 2.25” or 2.5”) to a performance muffler. You can’t go true duals b/c of back-pressure issues. If you want dual outlet, go w/ a single inlet / dual outlet muffler. I’ve been looking at a gibson stainless steel setup. Bolt on – looks sweet! I think that is the way I’m going to go. Good luck.

I definately recommend the cat back duals! They sound great, give you a noticeable power increase and look awesome. The kit doesn't come with tips, so i bought a pair of 3 inch chrome ones for like $17 each. They look great. You will love the gibson duals.
