94 F250 with 460 and E4OD. Will randomly stall, during stops, while turning, etc. Will start right back up with no issues. Runs fine even when it restarts. Dual tanks, have not tried it on the back tank. Just started doing it today. I assume fuel pumps are good as it will restart with no issues.
Any ideas guys and gals?
Remove and clean the IAC is the first thing I would do. Be sure to use a new gasket when you reinstall it.
Thanks for the tip. But, if it matters, it drives fine, and no CEL. And this was replaced last year. But, honestly, I don't know what this particular part does. Can you give me more info, please and thank you.
Finally got around to driving the truck after replacing the IAC. Drove great for about 2 miles in town. Then back to stalling, and idle surging. No codes present. And need to figure this out in 4 days before we go elk hunting. GAH!!!!
Any other ideas. Motor, sensors, etc., is literally all brand new. With less than 3,000 miles. Please, any input is greatly appreciated!!

Was the IAC replaced with a Motorcraft part or something else? The IAC is a stepper motor attracted to a valve that the computer uses to vary the amount of air bypassing the throttle body butterflies. It does that to control idle speed.
