I have had a running threat in the Excursion Section as I have a 2016 F250 Excursion Conversion. I have had a long road to finding out that I actually have a stock 44.1 Gallon Fuel Tank. The truck was a short wheelbase F250 Super Duty Diesel. The dealer that did the conversion told me it had a 30 Gallon tank, which would have been the same size as the 2016 F250 tank. Things never added up so I was able to drop the tank and found out I do have the Excursion 44.1 Gallon tank but a sending unit form a 30 Gallon tank. So wiht some fantastic help from the guys here on this forum I was able to get a sending unit for an 05 Excursion which does not have the pump built onto the sending unit like s the earlier ones.
I am getting it installed this weekend and now the issue will be getting it to read correct on my gauge. There have been some conflicting things on the internet about getting it corrected. I know a lot of you have added bigger tanks and probaly have more experience in this.
So what i am looking ofr is how to advice and maybe even a place in the Long Beach / LA area I can take it to to and have it done
