Here are some pictures from an Excursion in Nevada (https://www.gallagherford.com/used-i...malEngine=V-10). According to the title, it looks like this car was used exclusively in Nevada and surrounding areas, but it seems to me there's a lot of rust on it. I thought those areas don't have much rust.
surface rust on that stuff would be normal. Sand blasted and general condensation will cause that. When we talk about rust, we're talking about scaly body panels, missing hem flanges, floppy door panels.... what you have there is beautiful compared to a Michigan vehicle.

Thank you! I didn't know that.
They're asking 12K for that one, with 150K miles. I don't know what's going on near the front wheel, but that looks fixable, whatever it is.

12 seems a bit high for this one. Front bumper, will need tires soon, needs exhaust, diff dope needs changing... when was the last, if ever, trans flush/service. It was obviously a tow vehicle for someone (brake box). i would have a mechanic look at it. Check the front end. Looks like it has dual shocks on the front too.
But, looks like the body panels are rust free. Thats a huge plus.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll pass on this vehicle as well. It looks like I will need to pay 12-15K to get a decent low-rust vehicle not requiring a lot of work.
I'd say that's a pretty decent deal .super clean in the pictures.looks well kept. now it's only worth it if it's what you really want .and is in your budget
Its from NJ and is showing a little bit of rust on that one rocker bottom flange, I would want to see the inner rocker condition. If its solid at the common rust points (like the inner rockers that are not shown) I think that's a decent price for the mileage as long as its clean and straight with all features properly functioning.
