I have spent the last four years on the 73-79 forum while I was doing a complete restoration on a 1977 4wd F150. My mother in law passed away in March after a bout with cancer. She had a 1995 F150 2wd manual 6 cylinder sitting in her yard for the past several years. I hauled it back home 7 hours last night to try and resurrect it for my brother in law who is fixing to hand his 4wd not naming the brand truck to his daughter. The first problem is that there is no ignition switch. The cylinder that the switch would have been inserted itnhas had the lower half burned away. I am trying to locate the part number for the steering column flange. I have found it listed as
7F2Z-3511-A
but when I try adding it to a cart at one of the online purchasers they say it does not fit my truck.
Anyone else had a problem with this flange and if so where did you find your replacement.
Thanks for all of your responses.
I sold the ‘94 U-150 a few years ago so I don’t have anything in that body style anymore to go look. I am not sure why that place says that it won’t fit. I tried different trim packages/ cab size and All American Ford’s web page says it fits.
