I recently replaced the turn signal switch so I had to pull the steering wheel. That sticks because that coupler was newish. Glad I caught it at my garage. The wheel is separated from the column so far the turn signal reset lever is not contacting anything. Guess I didnt expect that to happen.
There is a clamp on the steering shaft just above the rag joint. 3D681 in the above picture. Loosen it then push the steering wheel back into place. Then tighten the clamp back up.
