Master cylinder help
A seal in my master cylinder failed and leaked fluid all over the booster so i got a new one at O'Reilly's and taking off the old one wasn't much trouble but putting it on the flare nuts on the brake lines won't thread into the master cylinder, i have an 86 4x4 with cruise but i think its an 85 cause it says 12/85 as the date on the vin,is there a difference between master cylinders or am i retarded, its a automatic transmission aswell

If the master cylinder lines won't fit, they gave you the wrong master cylinder or the rebuild place put it in the wrong box. Unless there are some brass adapters rolling around in the box, you need to take it back.

When I replaced the MC a few years back the old one the brass adapter, I didn't need to use it when I installed the one from NAPA.
Make sure you bench bleed the new MC before install.
