electric fan

Has anyone installed an electric radiator fan on a 99 f250. I am doing an engine swap and was considering a change to an electric fan. Any suggestion as too one that is under 150.00? I read that a Taurus fan was adapted and it works well.

What gain are you looking for? The stock clutch fan will pull more air then any electric fan you can fit in there.

The biggest reason is easy access for repairs. From what I am reading I may stick with stock.

Unless you never work your Superduty hard or tow anything I would leave the stock fan. I haven't seen any electric fans on the market that can flow anything near what a good large mechanical fan can do. Then you would also need alternator capacity. Probably need a 300-400 amp alternator just to run the thing.
