My name is Mike I just joined this site and I'm planning to buy a fifth wheel for my wife and I to live in and I'm going to get a Ford truck to Pull it.
I know about what kind of fifth wheel I want and I need to figure out how much truck I will need to pull it..

Welcome to FTE. If you click on the "Forums" link at the top left of your screen, you'll see the drop downs. In there, you'll see a "Towing" section. In there is a sub section dedicated to 5th wheel towing. That's the place to get all the information you need. But, the short answer is. you match the GVWR and Hitch weight rating of your trailer to the gross towing, (5th wheel) rating of the truck along with the Gross pay load. IA: your trailer has a gvwr of 9560 lbs.and a hitch weight rating of 1210 lbs. You need a truck capable of towing at least 10,000 lbs and hauling 1250 lbs. The ratings for your trailer are marked on a stick on plate, usually in the door jam. The towing vehicle rates can be found in several places, starting with a similar sticker on the truck and numerous web sites.
