I love the BD clamps they're super heavy duty albeit expensive.
I have 3 BD boots (cold side metal pipe from bd as well) and the Riffraff boot for the turbo elbow paired with all BD clamps and zero issues.
Heres the riffraff link and BD kit and a pic with part numbers if you just wanted the BD clamps you can order them individually and get the riffrafff boots, thats my suggestion https://www.riffraffdiesel.com/inter...-boots-03-07/#
I've had good luck with the OEM replacement boots. I know they made some revisions later on that made them hold up better with the oil that gets pushed thru them. They are quite a bit less money than the Riffraff or BD diesel ones so long as you get them from an online wholesaler like Autonation White Bear Lake.
However the Riffraff boots are generally considered to be higher quality.
I can't attest to the longevity of them, but Gates is now making reasonably priced CAC boots. I have liked the quality of gates hoses in the past and would probably give them a try if I ever need new ones.
If you've made it 378k on OEM Ford pipes and boots...I'd probably stick with them. A lot of the upgrade stuff visually looks nicer and is good quality, but if the truck is stock I'm not going to spend money somewhere it doesn't really need to be spent.
The Riff Raff boots are high quality and the plus is the thickness of the boot for the right hand tube to the IC. The added thickness adds rigidity to the CAC pipe and it does not flop around like the OEM allows it to.
I am on my second set and I only changed them out as a preventative when I replaced my IC with an aftermarket.
