Custom Driveshaft Question

I just finished my truck makeover and had some custom driveshaft questions.
I just rebuilt my 302 converted it to carb. I also pulled the AOD and coupled my fresh rebuild to a Ford Borg Warner T18 manual. For reference it is 13-01-065-907 and the tag is E5T3-AAA. The other end is a Ford 8.8 axle.
I figure finding an OEM driveshaft for this configuration would be pretty difficult and boneyards near me don't have any that I can find.

Sooo, I've decided a need a custom driveshaft. Does anyone here have any recommendations of places to order from?
Measurements:
62" from flat to flat on 1350 Spicer yokes

Have you tried looking for a local shop?
If you have an older auto parts store ask them if there is a place>
When I lived in CT there was a local parts store chain that 1 of the stores did drive shaft work.
Here in NC I found a heavy truck shop that dose drive shaft work and had 1 made when I swapped in a NP435 and advance adaptor over drive unit.

Thanks, I hunted around and found a shop in town that seems like they know what they're doing and have a decent reputation.

If the old shaft is too long, it's easiest and cheaper for them to just shorten it. If it won't fit the 4 speed they can put a new end on it. Just remember if your 4 speed has a fixed yoke (looks like the rearend connection) you will need them to add a slip joint in the middle of the shaft. My 1980 was setup like that from the factory.

Will something from there work ?

I see you found a shop in town, I would think most any machine shop or Heavy Equipment repair place would know a local place to do it. This is pretty common.

Correct. Because the AOD has a long snout off the back the old shaft was actually shorter by about 10".
And since the T18 and the rear dif both have a Spicer 1350 yoke the new shaft is going to be slip shaft.
I have the local shop working on it now so they should have a new one back to me by next week.

Good to hear you found a local shop.

When I went from a T18 to a NP435 I think I could have reused the drive shaft but ......
I added Advance Adaptor over drive that pushed the trans back 7-1/2" so needed to make it shorter.
I opted to get a whole new shaft in case I ever want to install the T18 again, after a rebuild, and would not need to get another drive shaft.

I also had a 2nd floor pan trans cover so I was able to mod the NP435 one to work keeping the T18 for later.
