I have a 77 f100 im redoing the truck set in thepersons yard for many years....im wondering what is a good cleaer to clean the aluminum grill....it is oxidized pretty bad... is there a good spray on cleaner then polish ?
You can try that but most of the time it's because your anodizing is shot. the only way to fix that is to strip it and polish it which is a huge amount of work and leaves it exposed to oxidization. or have it reanodized which costs far more than a new shell.

Some steel wool some soap and water will get it back to pretty near like new, SOS pads work great.
Only if the anodizing is still good and all it needs is cleaned. you don't just cut and buff bright dip .
It's worth a try maybe it's just gunked up, but think of it more like chrome. if it's shot it's shot and you can buff until your fingers bleed and it won't fix it.

Exactly! This is hard anodized aluminum unless you remove the anodizing you are not achieving anything.
