Unless you have a relatively late-model vehicle shipped with premium sound, there's a pretty good chance that your Ford is begging for a serious overhaul in the speaker department. Your factory speakers tend to wear out over time due to constant use and exposure to the elements slowly degrading your sound system's performance. If you're not planning to invest in aftermarket speakers, consider replacing them yourself with new factory units.
