Drive shaft help
I am currently swapping my 99 f350 7.3 crew cab long bed with a 172 wb to a single axel, the problem I have is I'm using a 99 f250 4x4 supercab long bed axel in the rear and the u joint on my current drivshaft is too big to fit the new axel, so I'm wondering is there a length difference in the f250 drive shaft since I can't swap the yokes from my old dana 80 to the new axel off the f250. Don't know about length but have you pursued a crossover joint? 1330 to 1350 definitely available as is 1350 to 1410.
Measure cap dia and distance across caps to figure out the size presently in your d/s and the size that needs to go in the yoke

So I bought the yoke to change it to a 1410 like suggested but as I was looking around I was looking at drjveshafts on rock auto and decide the my drive shaft is Dorman 946438(84.3 long) and I think the correct swap drive shaft being Dorman 976364 (89.3long) with that extra length be needed in my shaft or no because the new one is a 5.4 drive shaft so length will change at the trans hooked up not how long the yoke and hole axle assembly is compared to my current dana 80
