Boost issues
I have 15 super duty PSD and when the truck passive regens (which it has for the last 3 days) it builds boost and sounds like the exhaust brake is on and when I put my foot on the throttle the boost goes down at cruising speed and little more throttle brings it back up. What is this a symptom of?

Why has it regened for the last 3 days? Are you not running it long enough to clear the filter? I never paid any attention to the exhaust when mine regens but mine does get sluggish and requires more fuel during regens. I also have a '15. FWIW, I can tell immediately when the truck goes into regen mode, there's a slight drop in speed when it happens and I have to give it more throttle to compensate.

Does it seem like your fuel mileage has drop significantly? I’d try cleaning your Boost Pressure Sensor and tube if you truck has the tube. I know on my 6.4 any time it starts regening continuesly like that my fuel mileage drops and it has a bad spuder to it I’ll clean the tube and sensor and it clears up and everything goes back to normal.
