Monster 78 F-150 4X4 is starting off with a positive reputation.
when I drive my f-150 to school its the biggest, and oldest thing in the parking lot also its "scary" (I think they might mean ugly) looking so no one messes with it. Also no one will park beside or behind me. Its kinda of funny of how scared kids (even football players) get when the crazy redneck with bigfoot pulls in and the odd looks I get. HEHE Also I have swaped in a 460 in, the hood from my parts truck wich is white and grease on a black truck, 4" skyjacker lift, chrome bart super trucker wheels, 35" uniroyal MT's, puush bar no tailgate also a bunch of cans from parties from the weekend(my truck is used as a trash can some times), also I have alot of stuff to put on like a southern stepside a 4" double tubed roll bar new doors and fenders and a good interior to put in.

sandrat is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Sandrat goes into "rice-bragger" mode......

Welllllllll.........

My truck may look stock, but I've got the super-rare 300 c.i. H.O. motor. You can't get those just anyplace. They put out about 450 H.P., but they have even more torque. 1836 Lb-ft. @12 rpm. How is this motor different from the stock 300 you ask, lemme tell ya. It's been stroked to 13.35" and bored .80 (not .080) over, so it's like 489 c.i. actually. It runs 27:1 compression, which is actually a little low since it's got 4 turbos putting out 40 Lbs of boost. Each. It's got a 380 degree duration cam, too give it a little more top end than it already has. Everybody knows that these things are torque monsters at the low end, but with it's long stroke, the 300 H.O. revs to about 12 grand (that's where the rev limiter kicks in.) On the outside, my 2" lift kit and my 31" BFGs give my truck enough off-road capability to drive it up Mt. Everest. Did it in '99. I have pictures.
Doesn't that Lund visor hurt your top end? No, actually it helps w/ the trucks "aerodynamicicity," allowing me to achieve speeds in excess of 340 mph. But I mainly use my truck for drag racing, where I've gotten 1/4 mile times in the low 5's. I can also do 0-60 in negative time, due to the "Time-Warp" package that you can only get with the Lariat trim package on 91's. Finally, this truck picks me up sooo many chicks, you wouldn't beleive it. They go crazy when they see my ride. They just chase me down and fight over who gets to ride in....I'm sorry, that last part was a lie, I was just joking. Everything else is real though.

Really.

Sandrat, thanks for making my morning!

Instead of everyone else, I'll brag about how crappy my truck is - did anyone here ever read The Grapes of Wrath? Hence the name Joadmobile. '71 F100 stock 302 runs on 6.25 cylinders (0 psi compression on onecylinder, 25psi compression on another) takes 30 seconds of cranking to start, big big holes along the seams in the bed, and its painted ugly faded and scratched metallic gold. My dad put it in a ditch last year, so now the headlight on the right side is mashed downward, making it look like it got punched in the face. Also, it only has three hubcaps!
My neighbors love it in my yard! I'll post some pics later.

pulled chebby outta the mud

me and a friend were out in my truck at the local muddin traills today and i was goin along havin some fun when i turn the corner and i see a rather big chebby stuck in the mud. the guy gets out and asks for some help and i reluctanly agree (only cause i wanted to show him the power of ford). so i drive through the SAME mudhole hes in to get around him and pull out in front and back up to him. we hook chains and i start to pull and yanked him right out on like the second try. the guy gets out says thanks and hands me $10 and drives off. but the best part is.....im only runnin 6 cylinders cause #1 and #8 have like 20 lbs compression ( im gonna get around to fixin it....have $410 saved) LETS SEE A CHEBBY DO THAT.

Life Member NRA stickers on the rear window...now thats a truck!
Gotta love a truck with NRA stickers on it.

I actually have two trucks, a 1989 F250 Ext Cab long bed with a workaholic of a 460. Down on power and will still tow my trailer anywhere around town I want. it even has a rear main seel and front main seel leak.

I also have a brand new 2003 F250 XL standard cab long bed with the 5.4L V8, which I was surprised at the power that the engine has. Fairly plain, but a bedliner, new chrome mod wheels and (after the warranty is up), some engine mods.
