This retainer is supposed to hold the spare tire jack handle in the engine compartment. I see a hole but this does not fit. This retainer is designed for a square hole not a round one. Does anyone have a pic of a properly mounted jack handle hold down in their 1993 Ranger engine compartme

I no longer have a 93 Ranger to take a picture, but maybe I can help. There are 3 plastic devices to hold the jack handle. Two go on the upper face of the radiator support to hold the long part of the handle. Those are called retaining clips. E9TZ-17091-A. They are black plastic and if I remember right, they push into a square hole. Down near the driver's headlight behind the radiator support there is your E9TA-17091-B. There will be a diagram of the jack handle stowage location in the owners manual.
