Vent valve wiring
2011 F250 Super Duty XLT 6.2 Gas
Long story short, the wiring for the vent valve were pinched while having repairs done to the bed, resulting in a p0446 code.
I found the pinched wires and repaired them, cleared the code but to my disappointment it quickly returned.
My question is, if the wires were shorted to the frame, is there a fuse that would blow? Or would it result in damage to the computer? Right now I have 2.5v at the connector which makes me believe that there is no fuse. Corrosion in the wire is a possibilty but there was no issue prior to the wires being pinched.
