II can't help as mine isn't concourse correct but I am keeping it mostly stock on the outside. I didn't have a color code to go by when I had mine painted. I just eye balled paint chips at the paint shop and went with that. This picture shows it to be more white than it actually is.
Thanks Abe, I'm very happy with it. An old friend of mine re-worked the grill, it was in pretty nice shape to begin with, then laid down the perfect paint job. I think I like like it even better than my other 53`s chrome grill.
Your body shop like stated above will be able to get the correct formula for sungate ivory. I had my truck painted last year. I too bought a few of those old body color chips. Sungate ivory was a little different in each one. No two alike really. Because of the age and white pigment you’ll get a significant amount of yellowing from those old paint chips. For the darker body colors not so mulch but especially on whites. Sungate ivory is fairly dark it’s not just a light off white like Wimbledon white. Good luck!
I'm more used to seeing painted grills so to me they look more natural. My ''stock'' 53 came with a chrome grill so I left it that way. I think that having one of each is pretty cool.

I knew you would say that John. I like it a lot too, I've had it for 15 yrs and it just keeps on truckin, it's a real survivor.
Thanks for all of the answers Fomoko1. I'm impressed with the fleet of F100s and that you use at (at least the blue one) for working. My truck is the work vehicle at our summer place on an island, she ain't no trailer queen.
sungate ivory is what I painted mine with. I went to a paint store and they found the colors and mixed it up for me. I will take a pic of it later and post it. It is sort of an off white and creamy looking. Also snow shoe white and now some of the newer lincoln suvs have what they call a creame brulee spelling might not be right. Any paint store can look it up they just have to go back a few years.
Thanks artscott61.
This makes me feel more confident about the color choice.

I'll pass this along to my body guy but I'll guess he already has it.

My 56 is pretty well untouched except for a paint many yrs ago and re-done seat, it runs well but I have no idea if the 272 was ever rebuilt.
PS
The two 53s are Mercury trucks, the hood lettering isn't on the one yet.

Your white grill does look great👍! I like the white better too.
Mine was based on a "Sungate Ivory" color chip, and verified by a small amount of original paint visible on the back of one of my grilles. It's in a little bit less light, but seems to match up to Morris's painted grille.
