It’s amazing how new vehicles get treated because people don’t care. Was at a Ford dealer a couple years back waiting for a intercooler boot I blew while on a road trip and saw this. Dealer transfer being picked up by a transporter that attempted to back on the trailer in 2WD, broke loose sideways and jumped the guide rail, then locked in 4wd and attempted to steer out of it, watched it happen while yelling for him to stop, couldn’t get his attention; don’t think he was the brightest bulb in the box. Who knows how your damage happened, hopefully they make it right.

You should see how they get uploaded at the rail yard, I have gone plenty of times to witness our large chassis cab deliveries and not one time have I left without having to note damage. Last time I went two trucks were DOA and before I noticed they were dragging one out with another and pushing frame rail to frame rail. There is very little care on these bulk commodities overall.

Job I was at awhile ago car carrier new cars parked in front of his house about once a week loaded up. Parked in the same spot every time under a big tree with hanging branches everywhere all over the vehicles, I saw that for a little over 3 years. There are a lot of douche...s , you think if they owned the company they'd do that....nahhh they could never own the company. Another it's not always the companies fault (but they do have to rectify it), your only as good as your employees, some guys do this stuff on purpose because they are "angry little men".
Bottom damage is usually damage that occurred during shipping. This stuff never happens on purpose. Shippers conduct research and training to prevent issues.
When Ford builds 1000 trucks a day stuff happens. Truck transports crash, trains derail etc. I remember seeing brand new Boeing fuselages in a creek following a train mishap. The hits keep coming.
