When I am coming to a stop, I guess my rotors are warped or something because the truck just acts like I have a flat tire or something. I don't know if I should find a place and have the rotors turned or get two new rotors for the front. Any advise?
If the brake pedal is pulsing you likely have a warped rotor. I would opt for the replacement over having it turned.
Be sure to use a torque wrench (in a star pattern, ramp the torque 50-100-150) when installing wheels. Rotors get warped when wheels are installed poorly.
How old is the truck? What are you driving? How many miles on these rotors? The fronts are the ones taking the beating of slowing down your truck. Take the tires off and inspect for wear. If there are any groves being cut, replace them. You could have them turned but get measurements of your current versus a new one. I just replaced my fronts and rear with new rotors and pads. The rear was O'Reillys best and the fronts were genuine Ford OEM.
Rotors are probably warped. Had the same issue on my '01.
I replaced all 4 rotors and new pads for $300 bucks from summit racing with a set of power stop drilled and slotted rotors and heavy duty towing pads. Haven't had an issue since. I have them on both of my trucks now.
