Electrical Short
1994 F350 IDI Automatic Can be shifted manually if not shifted manually it will blow a fuse. Any help would be appreciated

e 40d the fuse that lets the transmission shift in to low gear

3 transmissions did the same thing

it blows the pcm coil power relay fuse

It’s an E 4 Oh D which is the abbreviation for Electronic 4 speed OverDrive. It is not an E Fourty D.

Sorry. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Since you apparently have had several transmissions in this truck.. is sounds like there is a problem in the harness. I’d suggest following the harness from the trans connectors back to the computer. Maybe it got damaged from a previous repair or rodents?
