Extra Head Holes
The engine I'm putting in my '66 is out of a '93 and the head has the additional holes for what I think was the EGR system. What is thier size and a good source for plugs? The closest I could come up with was 9/16 x 18 tpi. I have the rail, so I could cut it up and braze the ends shut, but would prefer nice plugs.

Whatever the hole is it's close enough to the tap size for a 3/8 or 1/4 (been awhile I forget which) NPT that you can just run that size tap down it and install plugs. I ran a head like that for ~50k with no issues prior to swapping the head for a different reason.
At the time I used thread locker on the plugs but doing it again I'd use red RTV or furnace cement.
