Welcome to FTE. That is a pretty nice looking '58. Custom Cab with a big back window, awesome. You even have a rear bumper that looks decent, this is not always the case!
Now, what are you trying to say about your engine, does it have any spark? Will it turn over with the starter? You can jump across the solenoid and put battery voltage to the starter.
First things first. Did you turn the motor over by hand with a socket to verify it spins freely? When was the last time it ran? Good battery fully charged?
If it turns over its not the starter, unless it's real draggy and using all the juice, pull the dist cap, with the switch on, do you have power, and spark at the points, if its been sitting for a long time, put a little oil in each cyl, replace the plugs and try it.
Sweet truck. Keep in mind it will be a little ornery, I would maybe do a little exploratory "surgery" or maybe a checkup before trying to get 'er to fire. Pull the valve covers and check that all the pushrods are all present and accounted for. Maybe check for stuck valves, mouse nest .. A lot of guys will pull the oil pan automatically and clean sludge out on a long sitting engine.
One thing to keep in mind that is often overlooked, cranking over the starter for more than just a few seconds at any one time will roast and toast the electrical parts, wiring, starter relay, battery, starter winding itself, etc.
ditto on the points, they can crud up overnight and prevent a spark. Check spark at coil wire held next to a head bolt.
