Hi guys. My76 Ford hiboy restoration is about done. (well there never done done) anyway I put 35’s on it and it’s a little harder to get into then it was when I bought it new 46 years ago. Do any of you know of a manufacturer or company that makes nerf bars or running boards for a hiboy? I’m not good at fabricating but I have friends. Would like some ideas of what you have done. Thanks
Dipstick429,
I'm not much of a fabricator either. My friend fabricated the step shown in the picture for the passenger side on my 1977 F-150 4x4. Used existing holes in the frame to mount it to, so no new holes were drilled and he used stainless steel plate.
Dipstick429,
Thank you for the complement on my step and truck. And, yes agree, my fabricator friend has treated me very well over the years, but It's been a reciprocal relationship. I firmly believe and practice the old saying, "people will forget what you said, but they won't forget how you made them feel".
Thanks for the info Rich I appreciate it. You probably don’t know how many times you helped me in the last 5 years. I’m always scanning this forum and sometimes it related to what I ws working on at the time or for things to come. Always felt you deal with people with respect even though guys like me were working our way through it and aren’t real good at it. Hope to post some pictures of my truck in the near future. Thanks
