New member here
Hello, I’m new here. I have a 1990 F350 4x4 Dana 60 front end. I get a knocking noise up front when I’m going over bumps, uneven pavement, etc. I can also rock the truck from side to side by hand and hear the same noise. Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance!

Noise diagnosis is hard over the net. If you can get someone to push it side to side for you while you are under there would be the best way to try and locate the culprit. Next thing to try is have someone start the truck in park with E brake on and turn wheel side to side while you are under there looking for the culprit. Next would be to jack the truck up where the wheels are just off the ground and grab them at 9 and 3 oclock and at 12 and 6 and move the wheel and see if you get the noise or anything loose feeling. If you find something and need some advice come back and report and someone will help you. You want to get that fixed ASAP so you don't have a major problem. Sandy
