89 bronco II no power to fuel pump
I have a problem I have no power to the fuel pump unit in the tank .
checked for power at distribution box and it is hot , but no power passing to inertia switch or back to the pump.
I see in the wiring specs a fuel relay switch where is this located I can not find it's location to check there for power.
also any other ideas would be most appreciated.
checked fuses and all seems ok there as well.

The fuel pump relay is green on my 87 Bronco II. It is located on the passenger side fender well about 1/2 way back. There is also a ground wire that is hooked directly to the negative battery post that came unhooked on mine. This apparently goes to the computer, because the fuel pump would not run with it unhooked.

OK thnxs for the info guys
now the problem is I have power from the pdb and power at the injectors & power from ignition is good but nothing on the wires for the inertia switch.
is it possible the fuel pump is shot and that is why I got no power at the inertia switch.
I did check it and it is reset and in working order i think but can not tell as there is no power going to it.
all other wires from relay are hot and working
any ideas welcomed thnxs again

Dont know if this will help or not, but I think the way this works is when you turn the ignition to run the EEC power relay closes & sends voltage to the fuel pump relay on the red wire, but only for 1 second. The yellow wire at the relay is hot at all times & when the relay closes yellow & o/lb are connected & send voltage to the inertia switch.
Hopefully this isnt something that you allready knew. Not sure if a dead pump would affect your voltage readings or not, but if you open the inertia switch it wont.

Thanks for all the help but I think the pump is toast because even sending direct power to it and it won't turn on
Going to check my grounds at the tank but I do believe the pump must of burned out
I did find and check the relay and it is fine so is the ecc and inertia switch
Thanks again for all the help you guys are great
