ECM code ID's?
Ok, so I am searching for an 06-08 6.8L ECM for a 4x4 with manual transmission.... Going to car-part.com and doing a search, it asks me which ECM code I'm searching for...

Yes, but I want a ECM for a MANUAL transmission truck. Mine is an AUTO so my numbers will not be a help. Hoping that the ECM #s would indicate which would work...

You can go back to car-part and plug in your truck and say you have a manual. It should ask you if it matters. But you are putting a lot of trust in their database, so go to some other vendors. Go to autozone's site, go to advance's site, go to o reilly's site, go to Napa's site, go to rockauto's site. Plug in your truck with a manual transmission and see if they have numbers and they start verifying each other.
