The first hole in the intake on a 1987 300 inline six has no threads and appears to never had threads. The whole is a smaller diameter than the rest. Is this hole for a Dow pin? Does anything go there? Also the last hole on top toward the transmission does that get a stud? It’s not as deep as the rest. I’ve seen a lot of pics where the intake was held on with studs and nuts but mine had mostly bolts with a thick built in washer. Thank you for your help. Also I know the engine was suppose to be ford grey. But I love the ford blue and since this will not be a show truck It First hole in intake First hole in block
