What should I look for? Is it probably just a rubber bushing or something?

Check the universal joints on the front driveshaft . Any noises during turns ?

 

Check front diff fluid level. Mine ran low one year. Never saw a leak and never used the 4x4 in the summer. Just winter to winter. Kicked it in during the first snow and had a terrible vibration. I checked the whole drive train for anything out of the ordinary and the only thing that seemed wrong was the front rear needed gear lube. I filled it up and it ran fine ever since. Never saw a drop gear lube on the axel or frame of the truck and never a puddle on the ground. Go figure?
