I need help with engine swap replacement
2001 escape 3.0 xlt...will any other v6 escape engine fit even if its awd? I need help asap before I buy this one for a really good deal but idk if itll work for sure?

as long as the engine is from a vehicle that started out as a front driver, then it doesnt matter if the engine comes from one that is all wheel drive. for instance, lets say you find another escape, but it has all wheel drive to your front wheel drive. you can use the motor from the AWD escape without issue. however a rwd ranger or explorer engine wont work since they started life as rear wheel drive.
